Re: [Audyssey] question about manamon navigation

You have a bread crumb system. Buy some fliars from one of the shops, then
you can write something and drop it on the ground at various points to serve
as a landmark since it'll produce an audible cue. I haven't needed to do
this yet but it is there.

Subject: [Audyssey] question about manamon navigation

Hi list,

I am not sure if the manamon creators will respond to this,

but I have a question, I have read the documentation so I am fairly sure
the answer is no, but is there a key for telling you if you have visited
a location before or a coordinates system?

if not, is this just because they haven't been put in or is it down to a
limitation of the BGT?

I really feel that the current navigation system isn't adequate
particularly for large maps, e

I have got to floor 2 of the minereff tunnel, it took me at least 4 or 5
hours to get off the first floor, and I only found the second by chance,
and I certainly couldn't find it again easily, and now on the second I
am again wondering in circles, keep ending up at the ladder to the first
floor.

I would also like to see some system for controlling how frequently you
are attacked, its quite boring being attacked, having to hit enter to
open the combat menu to be able to then select the flee option.

I know a game is supposed to be challenging but the navigation simply
isn't fit for purpose for very large maps and this is getting beyond
challenging its getting to the annoying and not well thought out stage.

I actually don't think listening for tones to stop to tell you about a
new passage is a good system anyway because it can be hard to tell if a
tone has stopped or if you have missed a passage and even if you find a
passage if you have been in it before, I do know there are two types of
tones and I have experimented with both, I would like to see a
coordinates system, a visited location key to see if you have been there
before, and maybe even a breadcrum system so you can mark locations.

sorry for the rant but I would like to see some sort of improvements to
assist with navigation, the game has been very well thought out and
designed though.

Alex.
