Well, the Logitec Momo Racing Wheel should give you the features you are
asking for. As far as price goes it is about $99.00 USD. That's not that
expensive in my opinion, but we all have our opinions what constitutes
expensive.
As far as accessible racing games that gives you pretty good
well it could have failed actually.
The first thing was the defence ships for cardacia just happened to be there.
I don't usually go after those for a start.
Secondly luck was on my side that another ship was in range, the ships were
thinly spread out.

Sorry, I don't know of any accessible games that can use a joystick with clutch
and all. I do know though that if you don't shift at the correct time in Mach
1 and Homer on a Harley your engine bogs down and thus you do not get up to
speed well etc.

I bought the Logitec Momo Racing Wheel joystick from MicroCenter in Mayfield
Heights Ohio for $99.00. It does not have a clutch peddle, only a gas and
brake peddle. The next one up did have a clutch peddle and cost another 50 or
$100.00.

Yeah, unfortunately the Momo doesn't have a clutch peddle and six speed
gear shift. The more expensive mottle you were talking about, the
Logitech G25 Racing Wheel, does include a Clutch peddle, six speed gear
shift, and duel motor force feedback. I've heard that it is awesome in
games

Actually jim I've never personally seen an arcade version of Pong myself,
being born in 1982, but the wikipedia artical said there were plenty around
in the 70's.
