Sure there have been some updates. Last I checked it is up to something
like 1.05 beta. Not sure what is different now other than the SQL
database and a few bug fixes here and there. Though The Driftwood site
should give you all the details of what is new.

Yes. You will need a mouse, but it's not that bad once you get
used to the motion. I use my trackpad, and would never go back to
using the keyboard. You haven't experienced swamp until you've
been running through a hoard of undead with one finger.
