Typically this is located just above the left analog joystick. That is

Unfortunately, we have recently gotten swamped with so many end user 
requests that we have had to put that feature request fairly low on the 
things to do list. Though, it should get done eventually before release.

I don't want to sound rude here, but if you had spent any time in the 
User's Guide you would know there is a modifyer for running. Hold down 
button 4 while moving the analog stick left or right and Angela will run 
in that direction.

Again this is an issue that can be resolved by reading the 
documentation. Press button 8 to get a list of your weapons, use buttons 
1/4 to scroll, and select to pick a weapon or item from the list.

No, that is a bug. I have a pretty good idea what is causing the bug, 
but am not sure how to fix it currently.

for the Phillips SGC-2909 rumble pad. So that is why the button 
arrangements on your game controller don't seam as logical.
As far as a game pad or joystick configuration tool yes one will be 
forth coming eventually. As I have said ever since releasing the first 
three betas I have been swamped with a mountain of requests for this, 
that, and the other thing. I can not simply do everything in one 
release, update, etc. So I am trying to play catch up with Beta 4.

Some game pads such as the Phillips SGC-2909 does have a button marked 
enter. However, you aren't the only person to complain about not having 
a specific enter button on your game pad, or at least aren't aware of 
one. For that reason with Beta 4 when you holster your weapons button 1 
will pick up items, open doors, etc.Hope this helps.

Little by little, stuff'll get done.  I, for one, am not worried, and I'm 
patient.  Now, where's! my! game!!  (grin)  Oh, yeah, beta 3 is already on 
my PC, isn't it.  I figured that would be your response in kidding, as I am. 
As long as you meet your!, and that is the key word, deadline for the 
completion of the game, and as long as it is the way you want it and you're 
satisfied with the product, I'll take it.

Greetings Thomas.

I recently purchased a Logitech Rumblepad II to replace my old gamepad which 
was suffering from a short in the wire.
I decided to test MOTA's abilities with it, and here are my conclusions:

1. The menus (Both main menu and inventory menus) do not properly support 
gamepad input. When I pres button 1 (the action button), it moves up in the 
menu, and pressing button 4 moves down the menu. No other gamepad buttons are 
recognized, and there is no way to select an item.

2. When playing the game, the program does not recognize commands via the POV 
(hat) directional buttons (the four arrow buttons on most gamepads). Instead, 
it relies solely on the analog stick for movement. While this is 
understandable, it would be nice to be able to also move with the POV buttons.

3. There is no way to run when using the gamepad, so you're effectively stuck

character run when the stick is fully to the left/right/etc? Otherwise, perhaps

gives a list of all the button functions.  There is a combination for 
running listed.  HTH

OK. I did re-read the read me file, and I guess some of the earlier 
observations were due to my ignorance.
I do, however, hope there will be a joystick configuration tool in the file 
release, as I'm not altogether sure I like some of these key assignments, 
and I really don't like that I have to use the enter key on the keyboard to 
open doors and get items (unless there are joysticks out there with an 
entery button?).
