I'm sure this one's been heard of before, but I recently started really getting into it so thought I'd post about it here. It's the unofficial squaresoft mud. It's a little like eternal fantasy, which I posted about a while back, but its been around longer and there's a few things that are better about it. The descriptions, honestly, are worse, but the game is still worth playing simply for the job system alone. Like eternal fantasy you aren't locked solidly into one class, instead you can train up any class you want and change at will. You can have a primary and secondary class set, so you can use the abilities of two classes, as well as a reaction and support ability set. You start with the squire and chemist jobs, but you quickly unlock more as you level your jobs up, and with more jobs comes more abilities. There's also quests to do, several popular squaresoft zones to explore, fairly easy travel (for example, in the ff worlds you can use the airships, free of charge, and have the pilot fly you to many locations), and many other features. The combat system is a bit odd, not really representative of the RPG genre but instead more like the hack and slash style muds we're all used to. Its made more interesting by the job system, and the fact that the jobs aren't your convensional warrior, mage, etc, but instead you have classes like squire, knight, wizard, monk, etc. For those who are unfamiliar with the FF genre, these classes focus pretty much soully on unrealism, so you'll end up with monks that can shake the ground with a single punch and attack with the force of their spirit alone, knights that can unleash powerful blasts of neergy from their swords, callers who can summon powerful beasts to attack your enemies, and many more. It's a fairly decent mud. For those looking for something to do, I recommend checking it out at:

As always, if you need help, look up Gordan and I'll see what I can do.
