Hi.

Well, I'm just preparing to leave my flat and go to my parents for christmas.

Of course, this means taking my laptop, and two pretty major backup sessions,
----- one from my desktop to my external harddrive (which I'll be taking home
as well), and one from the hd to my laptop.

Doing these things every three or four weeks insures that I always have coppies
of everything.

it is however a rather time consuming process, sinse not only do I have to wait
for the files to copy across both ways, but also i have to decide which folders
I can simply copy and replace, and what organizational changes I've made to the
new copies.

Often, i just delete the old backups, ---- though deleting can actually take a
fair while as well considdering my 7 gb music folder and my 10 gb audio folder
(which i use for both audio books and work related audio articals).

I was wondering if there's a way to make this process easier, ---- or at least
automate it so that I can leave it ticking while I go off and do other things.

I'm sorry if this is getting slightly too far Ot, ---- though of course I'll be
backing up all my games, favourites, and extra game content such as lone wolf
missions and rail racer tracks too.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Beware the grue!

Dark.
