Hey Dark, What is this ‘the ensign’ you mentioned? Is it on ios or webbased? I'd not describe it as a civilization style game, not with the amount of encounters and story behind it, for a start you can't just resource manage your way through, you really need to think about the setting and the choices your making in each scene. Re: [Audyssey] Best roldplaying games.
Hi Anouk. the Ensign is available for Ios and it's the sequel to A Dark room see the audiogames.net db for more information. If you've got an Iphone I'd highly recommend both games, though you should definitely start with Dark room. It looks simple at the start but there's more to it than initially appears, especially when you realize exactly what the world of the game is about (sometihing I won't tell you sinse you really need to explore and experience it for the first time yourself). The Ensign is a much tougher, nastier sequel, and I confess I've not got too far in it thus far, though it's a game I definitely need to sit down and take time with as if it's anything like Dark Room it's well worth it. Actually I'm surprised there hasn't been more discussion of The Ensign either on list or on the forums at audiogames.net, especially given that almost a year ago there was a huge stir about A Dark room. All the best, Dark. There is always more to know, more to see, more to learn. The world is vast and wondrous strange and there are more things benieth the stars than even the archmaesters of the citadel can dream. - Original Message - From: Anouk Radix radix.an...@gmail.com To: Gamers Discussion list gamers@audyssey.org Sent: Monday, November 24, 2014 10:36 AM Subject: Re: [Audyssey] Best roldplaying games. Re: [Audyssey] Best roldplaying games.
Well, I personally like the Choice Of Games and Hosted Games stuff: same style, same developer, sort of. Also, if you just want a casual grinder, try Level-Op, I think it's called. The TIconBlue or whatever are supposed to be good,, but they're frankly too expensive in my humble opinion. Hmmm. There aren't too many that I've played at least. King of Dragon Pass doesn't really count, because it's more of a civ game, but it's good. There are more games, but I can't really vouch for them because I haven't played them and don't know anything about them.
