Actually, an easier and more accessible way to do this, works for all
versions, is tab to the control you want to move press f4, and simply
edit the properties such as its x/y coordinates. Bingo when you close
the property window the control

I know this isn't a list to discuss development on, but I'm taking an online
class in VB and was wondering if anyone can help me. I really don't understand
the lesson's instructions because the teacher is being visual and wants me to
arrange and move windows to certain places and gives
keys to
move the control, and shift plus any key to enlarge it or make it smaller.

you need vb shortcuts keys.
there is a llink on empowermentzone for all the document projects and there are
manuals ofr the dotnet stuff in there like www.empowermentzone.com/cnet_doc.zip
or cnetdoc.zip or vbnetdoc.zip.
actually this was probably in another zip but I never kept the link.
