Yeah, I kind of thought you would find some of that history
interesting. Rather than just answer your question where the name came
from I decided to write a small article giving you a bit of history on
the operating system, and more directly how it relates to gaming
today. Since this is a gaming list I decided to focus on the gaming
aspect rather than how Linux is used on large networks, has several
free office products, etc which are all useful, but pretty off topic
for this list.
