Yep, you'd probably like Tank Commander and Loan wolf too - though not adventure, they're action packed, though they cost money.
Also the mysteries of the ancients from
http://www.usagamesinteractive.com
would be enjoyable.

I might add here that we as blind folks are lucky in the sense our games are rather small. Compared to games sited people play in this day in age, there games can usually run a few gb, you on a dialup connection come out very lucky at this point, as most games here run anywhere from 20 to 150 mb. I also wouldn't want to download gb of things only to find out I didn't like it - what a waste of bandwidth!

Hmmmm, how about those from http://www.lighttechinteractive.com/webpage/index.php or Tarzan Junior, ---- once produced by pb games, but now freeware and available from Tom's site at http://www.usagames.us/

The other advantage is all of these games are indeed free.

I believe though, as a fan of exploration and adventure type games, you'll hopefully enjoy sarah from pcs, or shades of doom from Gma. Though they aren't symple games, they are incredibly rewarding to play.

Hi Dark,
Mathues beat you to it (snicker) I was so relieved to know it wasn't me being a screw up. It has happened that I have been on rare occasions (smile). Have any suggestions for a nice, small, simple game that demonstrates more of the autio game type.

Hi tony.

Smile! world of legends is a text adventure, therefore everything works by typing in commands just as in a tads, ---- or any other interactive fiction game.

Just press one of the indicated numbers, then press enter to enter your command. This is true for everything in the game.

I realize this must seem trivial to those of you who are experienced but not for me. I re downloaded Worlds of Legends , (two minutes, some seconds) unzipped it got two files a read me (which I did)although it not making much sense to me. Finally I clicked on the second file world of Legends then a numbered list appeared (1.) new game, (2. )load game, (3.) about, (4.)) )ahrim's journal or something like that (0. ) exit which doesn't work so I can't close the thing. I tried clicking on all of them nothing. , So duh what is the problem? I don't get it I have been playing tad's text games for years when you unzip and click play they works (which computes to me)!!
