[Audyssey] scorpions - Re: Important MOTA News

Having lived in Arizona, I! hate! scorpions! If I find any in a game, I
will gleefully, and hopefully with great gusto, obliterate it!

Hi,
Hahaha. Kind of like a female scorpion. I'm sure glad I'm not a
scorpion. Scorpion females mate with male scorpions before stinging
them to death and ripping their heads off. How is that as a way to go?
To get killed in the act of getting it on so to speak. Lol!

Hi Charles,
Oh, yeah? Then, you would love Tomb Raider Last Revelation. The game
is full of nasty scorpions and several other oversized desert insects
that serve as basic enemy monsters in the game. I love it when Lara
Croft blasts one splattering it all over the place. Lol!

Hi William,
That really wouldn't work for Mysteries of the Ancients since it takes
place in Greace. Scorpions live in hot dry desert regions like Egypt,
the south-western united states, Iraq, and places like that. I don't
beleave Greace has any scorpions because they have a more mild climent
then is their natural habitat.
However, I will say that one of the ideas I am toying with for Tomb
Hunter 2 is a game set either in Egypt, which would be cool, or one
set somewhere in Central America in the Yucatan Peninsula. Both offer
natural habitats for scorpions and I could borrow them as a basic
enemy for the game the way it was done in Tomb Raider Last Revelation.

Hi Charles,
Ahem...I was talking about the idea being cool not the country. Lol!
Egypt is definitely hot and dry. Especially, since a lot of it is one
big desert. The Nile is basicly their one and only major resource for
water year round. It is one of those places I don't mind visiting, but
sure wouldn't want to live there.
