Hi Liam,
Great new version!
I do have some suggestions.
When I reach the edge of the field, and hit the arrow key to go further I 
don't hear anything.
It takes me a press or two to confirm this while the chicken gets closer and 
the time flies by.

I would like a bumping sound.
The clocks change pitch if they are above you or below you. I would like the 
same effect on the chicken.
And when the games tool kit gets mouse support I hope you will add it to the 
game.

hi phil, the chicken does also get the pitch changes. you probably don't 
notice it at first since unlike the eggs and clocks, which have a distinct 
sound which holds one note the chicken is, ur, a chicken, so don't expect it 
to sing. smile

Thanks for the update.
I enjoy the game, especially the boost mode.
I have came across 1 bug.
If the chicken is on my tail and I pick up a clock, the chicken does not get
frozen.

One of the reasons I don't have clocks effect boost time is it would be too
easy to rack up a ton. When I first started testing I had collected enough
eggs to get boost time to about 45 seconds at one point which was way too
much.  So I had to slow down the speed and lessen the initial time. Boost
time also caps at about 10 seconds or so to keep someone for having an
entirely boosted game.

Yeah, and how about a hand fowl of corn so you can distract the chicken when 
she comes close?


But watch out for the mounds of chicken poop 'cause you'll slip in it and 
stop moving for ten seconds. How can you tell where the poop is? Listen for 
the flies buzzing around.


Then when you have 250 eggs, you can run out and have a great big omelet!

remember you having mentioned something to this effect. If so, was it

the flies buzzing around.

Then when you have 250 eggs, you can run out and have a great big omelet!

The reason I don't have it wait to finish saying sending score was both for
speed and to kind of show off how fast the process is.
Yes. I've rewritten it using BGT, and I'm honestly glad I did. There are so
many things I did better such as classes and stuff that vb made trickyer.

So I've been busily working on Seh 1.3.  I've had a lot of stuff to do as

He made it clear a number of times that he does not have a lot of time
for developing  games.
He is a programmer at work.
Like charles said, you do not want to sit at home programming if you had
a day's programming duties at work.
I am in a call centre.
I  do not want to sit on the phone when I get home after I had a day's
talking on the phone at work.
The same with a guy with programming as career.
Please keep this in mind.
Please stop sending unnecessary  e-mails about the development of  games
if the list and dev gave answers already.

You'll just have to wait.  Creating a preview would take time away from 
creating the game, and he does not have much time for game creation to begin 
with because he works a full week.  Time, energy, and desire to program 
games is a commodity.  If he burns out on doing it at home, we get nothing 
in the future.  So be patient and wait with the rest of us, and please stop 
asking basically the same question about when a game will be coming out or 
asking for a sneak peek.

Hi Hayri,
No offense, but can't you just let Liam be?It seams like at least once a 
week someone brings up a topic about the next Super Egg Hunt release. 
The guy does have a full day time job, and hasn't the time to put into 
games like he use too. As a game developer myself, with a family/life of 
my own, my motto is, when I have something important to say about a 
game I'm working on I'll say it. No news probably means there is nothing 
important to say yet.

Thanks for saying this.  If anyone wants to discover the progress of the 
production of a game, rather than cluttering up the list, send your 
question, if you must, directly to the developer.  I say if you must 
because answering such Emails only takes up time that could otherwise have 
been spent developing.

Hi,
I'd also like to point out that software developers, as a rule, let you 
know when there is something significant to report. Otherwise you can 
assume he is either busy with his personal life, working on it, there is 
no new news to be had, whatever. Badgering the developer for news isn't 
exactly going to produce the results you seak, and may just end up  
ticking off the developer in the process.
I can't say how many times I've been asked when the next update for 
Mysteries of the Ancients will be out. I haven't exactly set a date in 
stone, and at best my answer is I am working on it, and sometimes I will 
drop a couple of nuggets of bugs I've recently fixed. That probably 
isn't the answer the person was looking for, but I didn't have any 
answer to give him/her in the first place.

I am hoping in the next week to release super egg hunt 1.3. But I'm looking for 
any bugs or changes you might have found. The major update in this release will 
be new modes. What are new modes you ask? Well I've listed the possible modes 
below.

normal game:
standard game with eggs, chickens, clocks. The mode that has always been in the 
game.
survival mode
collect as many eggs, but once a chicken touches you, it's game over. Every ten 
seconds, the chicken gets a little faster.
chicken coop
smaller grid, and more chickens
minute rush:
collect as many eggs in 60 seconds as possible. no chickens and no clocks.
classic
just eggs
