Re: [Audyssey] huge Swamp bug.
Yeah, I would give the change log a bit of a read, as a lot of stuff has not been put into the readme file. You'll be surprised at what you can Learn by reading the change log. If you do want to learn more on swamp, you could also contact me if I am on. I tend to go by the name keba At the moment. To answer the actual question, no, I have yet to come across this problem with changing the volume settings. Good luck with your swamp playing days. LOL. As already mentioned, there are 3 keys for footsteps. One for yours, one for other players, and one for zombies. Simon said he has his set to 140%. I suggest you do not do that because then you will think they are closer than they are and you will waste ammo . I only increase zombie footsteps for shooting at them long range, and then put it back to 100%. The higher the percentage the louder it should be. Press shift and the same key to lower it. Just a suggestion. I have a really nice modified keyconfig.ini file if anyone wants it. https://dl.dropbox.com/u/13968355/keyconfig.zip The file is really not zipped. just remove the zip off the end and put in .ini instead. What is nice about it is I have moved all beacons to the F keys. And most others do not require the shift or control key If you need help, look me up in the game. Always glad to help. SO perhaps this bug has been mentioned previously. Basically I found some keys not mentioned in the documentation. They allow you to raise and lower player footstep volume, as well as zombies volume level. The problem is when I try messing around with player footstep volume, all movement sound is completely stopped. In fact, I'm not even sure if I'm moving. Has anyone experienced this? I haven't played multiplayer btw, only default offline map. Only way to fix this issue appears to be to remove my config file, which won't be fun once I get into missions. lol --- Gamers mailing list __ Gamers@audyssey.org If you want to leave the list, send E-mail to gamers-unsubscr...@audyssey.org. g raises the other players footsteps while shft lowers them currently been suspended at mo in multi player mode h and shift controls your chars footsteps and j and shift j controls the footsteps of zombies. i tend to have my chars footsteps set at 120 while i have the zombies set at 140 to enable better tracking and targeting. if you need any help in game just shout i go by the name of pitbull in the game. hth On 20/02/2013, Dakotah Rickard dakotah.rick...@gmail.com wrote: First of all, I'm not sure, but I thought those keystrokes were documented. Second, the player footsetp volume doesn't have anything to do with your footsteps. It's the footsteps of other players around you in multiplayer. The setting that affects your volume is, actually, your footsteps. third, you raise them by pressing ... I think... g h and j. You lower them by pressing shift plus g, h, and j. Finally, the configuration file shouldn't have anything at all to do with missions, unless you change your character's name, which would affect everything. Not just missions. It's more a bug that the ammo doesn't show up right away. Switch out of the gun you unloaded and back in and you'll be set. - Original Message - From: shaun everiss sm.ever...@gmail.com To: gamers@audyssey.org Date sent: Sun, 22 Apr 2012 21:06:43 +1200 Subject: [Audyssey] another swamp bug Hi. I have 2.0 in adition to the mission bug thingy I reported a bit ago, if you have the final clip loaded in your weapon say the pistol, and you unload it it dissapears. if you then get another weapon you can reload the old clip to your old weapon again. As long as you have 1 spare clip this won't happen. --- Gamers mailing list __ Gamers@audyssey.org If you want to leave the list, send E-mail to gamers-unsubscr...@audyssey.org. Default is the mouse sensitivity setting that was used in version 1.1b. Which mouse sensitivity setting will put the turn speed back the way it was in 1.1b?
