Yep. Just copy those files. Do it in order to be safe: 4.91 to 5.10 to
5.14. I think 5.10 replaces the database while 5.14 doesn't. Remember
though that the first time you run 5.14 an error will pop up. That's to
be expected, and you'll just want to select the Space Race campaign for
simplicity and run the database update from the game menu. After that,
you can restart the game and create your own.
I'll be glad to help with any other questions. Just remember that this
game has a ridiculous amount of depth, and a learning curve which is
sometimes compared to a cliff. There is a lot of internal consistency
though if you work at it.
