Unfortunately my desktop has encountered a massive hard drive error so I'm
unable to test this.
on both machines however I enabled sapi by adding the tts.xml plugin with
ctrl shift p, however neither time did interupt work with escape.
I don't believe there is an active plugin called mush reader but I'll check
on my laptop.
Beware the grue!

When you reinstalled mushclient, did you remove the MushReader plugin?
The interrupt key is metnt to be escape.
Please remove MushReader plugin from plugin list with ctrl shift p and
add tts_Sapi.xml if it is not there and restart mushclient.

In terms of Hal, I'm afraid I stil notice no difference at all. I can

the screen with dolphin curser, but incomming text is not read at all.
