Yes, isn't that amazing? And guess what else still exists? E-mail clients which do much better with text only. Guess what else exists, Internet connections where you can only download so much or where you can only use for so long before they start charging you extra. this is why we stress avoiding me-too and one-liner messages. One thing which i recommend is perhaps using wma instead of ogg. Trust me, it actually hurts to say that because ogg is by far the better encoder IMHO, but at least with wma, it's compatible with most mp3 players and still sounds better than mp3. -- Raul A. Hmm. Well, I'll admit you have a point there... OGG has very good quality, and even though there is a piece of software to play .ogg files in Windows Media Player, Winamp can convert almost any type of file using .WMA, and it still sounds pretty good even at lower bytrates. Hmm. I think that's Bitrates. I'll have to look at all of the bitrates that .WMA can do. Also with WMA files, you can't try and convert them back to MP3 or something. However, strange as it may seem, there is a way to convert back to .wav files. How to do it I don't remember. Ok, back to gaming now... But certainly, for people that use dialup, WMA files seem to be the way to go for uploading files. Ogg files would be my second choice I guess. Trenton Matthews T Man TV! My only gripe about wma is although its semi good even in licenced files you will hear this digital signal like you are hearing the sound from within a can. I must admit some of the highquality wmas do not sound like that but most wma files sound like that. I have been doing ogg coding but most things I do now are in mp3. Aggreed though that I probably have hacked winamp so the plugins sound better than the files actually do but whatever.
