Now that you have the record side setup. You have to set the card
doing the recording also to be the card doing the playing of the
sounds you want. That is why you have no sound recorded. M

Anybody heard of Virtual Audio Cable? That might work out. But how is this
related to gaming? Are you trying to produce a play through of something?
