Man does Bill Gates have it hidden well. SMILES. I ended up doing a search for set up joy stick configuration and finally found it. When I did a search for just joy and or joystick, it would take me to the bsc game joy stick configuration, and that's not what I wanted. Well, I even went back to defaults and ok everything and tested out tdv with the controller and still after going through everything and even going through everything with vision I still couldn't get the force feedback to kick in and I still ended up with the same message when I attempted to fire up tdv. Hi, Oh, boy. Yeah, it is probably asking for your Windows Vista install cd if we are talking your Sapi 5.3 components. If it is another Sapi engine like the Cepstral Swift engine or the ATT Natural Voices engine etc then that's a horse of a different color. Cheers! The bad news is how do I go about repairing them? Robert Sezar from IYP said that there was a problem with my sapi 5 engine. So I uninstalled it to try and fix it. That was one huge mistake. I go to try to click on repair and it tells me that I need a cd-rom. Is this my vista disc? Is there any way of going on line somewhere to test out my sapi for vista? Also, if there's anyone on this list who's running fsx and iyp with vista and lives in the lower 48 states I would deeply appreciate the help getting up and running. I can call for a once a month fee for the lower 48 states. I'm not sure, but I think I at least have the fsuipc program installed and running at least.
