Yeah.
I stopped playing technoshock because I could never get passed the
fireballs in level2.
Level1 is easy, keep the electricity on your right, and find the door with
the nav.

Once the door is in front of you you will have to chop it with the axe.
Shoot the guard or rather cut him down and get the amo and rifle, turn off
the switch and head to the lift, getting the targeting scope on the way.

There is a bot you can't do anything about, by the lift.
Open the lift, and then push up arrow to get in the lift.
After that I have no idea.
I really never got the game done at all, and with all the acid pits and
other distractions I eventually gave up.

I'm quite impressed with the sound quality, but am having serious trouble
DOING anything. I've gotten the axe, but I can't even find the door. The
problem is that my navigator will tell me something's right in front of me
but I cannot pick it up. Now, I haven't downloaded the update pack, so
maybe that's the problem.

Otherwise, do you have any tips?

It is quite easy for me to think of a God of love mainly because I grew up
in a family where love was central and where lovely relationships were
ever present. It is quite easy for me to think of the universe as
basically friendly mainly because of my uplifting hereditary and
environmental circumstances. It is quite easy for me to lean more toward
optimism than pessimism about human nature mainly because of my childhood
experiences.
It is impossible to get at the roots of one's religious attitudes without
taking in account the psychological and historical factors that play upon
the individual.

Sounds like a mix between things like Monkey Business, Shades of Doom and
even Blast Chamber doesn't it?
