Yeah, it's brilliant, but it's interesting that for me the player works
fine, but the whole Klango games bit didn't work properly.

Re: [Audyssey] What is Klango?

2009-01-04 Thread dark

Hi che.

Klango itself is an environment for creating audio games and applications
such as haunted factory and pirate memory game.

recently though, the klango team have used the Klango environment to create
a program called Klango player. this is a self-voicing, sapi-supported
application using klango which has a huge variety of features, from forums,
blogging, quick access to online shopping, to several audiogames which may
be run directly from the program itself, a very nice media catalogue and
player with both streaming, and download capabilities (my personal favourite
bit of the application), to even a basic recording program.

More features are added on a very regular basis. The most recent updates
have been to the social side of things with text chatting and the creation
of specific forums which may be read via the Klango player, but this is by
no means the be all and end all of the application.

Hth.

Beware the Grue!

Subject: [Audyssey] What is Klango?

 Hi all,
I went to the klango site and poked around a bit. I still don't understand
exactly what it is. Is this a social gathering site with software for
voice chat, or something else entirely?

And how are they implementing games there?
Thanks
