Hi, In order for people to eat, you need a tavern and a cook. This will help with meat, bread and vegetables. Wine requires a bartender. Also note that bread and wine require more elaborate prduction processes, whereas meat and vegetables mostly just come in. Keep your tavern close to your storehouse and farms. Best, Zack. Firstly you need a tavern and a cook, (the tavern is usually the second thing I build after the storehouse), sinse people can't eat without one. then, you need sufficient peasants in order to take the food to the tavern. usually I've found one hunter, one fisherman and two vedge farms with farmers are more than enough to keep my population going at least until many babies start being born, then I usually add another hunter/fisherman, and probably a vinyard to make wine to suplement the diet, though I might try breade instead this time. Hi, The doctor will work on sick people as his time allows. He'll use cloth to treat physical injuries, but can handle actual sickness on his own. It might take a while, but eventually you'll get a message that the doctor is working on so-and-so, and some time after that they should be cured, and you'll get another message about that. Zack is right darren, but one piece of advice I'll mention is to always make sure the doctor is only a doctor when there are sick people to treat, sinse otherwise he/she will just stand around idle. When you eventually get a textile the doctor can double as a spare tayler, but sinse this doesn't happen for quite some time as it is you don't want anyone standing around doing nothing. Ah, if you don't have a cook, that is the problem. A cook is in charge of preparing, and handing out the food to the hungry people who visit the tavern. well a funny thing happened today while playing. The cook got sick. In the description was that he was morbedly obeese. So did the guy just eat his way through the stores in the middle of the night all day and everyday of the week.
