Hi Ben. Sadly, you will now need to buy it sinse realspeak are being very proprietorial about their products, and getting a sap enabled voice from them is really rather difficult. i'd recommend though you look into getting a decent sapi voice from somewhere sinse there are so many games that use it. Loquendo, seerprock, Kepstral and various other people kicking around the net have voices for sale that you can use with sapi, usually for about 35 usd or so. Beware the grue! RIGHT: IF TTS_INTERRUPT ISNT RECOGNIZED; IT MEANS THAT THE TTS_SAPI:XML PLUGIN ISNT running and you need to add it. the plugin adds this alias, so I don't understand why its not working. I have tried it myself and it interrupts just fine. Hi Oriol. fixed! Actually I see where I was making a mistake, and i appologise for my irritation sinse the mistake was mine. i added the tts.xml plugin, not the tts_sapi.xml plugin. What is confusing is that basic tts.xml plugin does! output to sapi, which is why I thought I'd added the right thing (you might considder removing that one from the archive). once I unloaded the tts.xml and loaded the sapi specific plugin, escape as interupt works fine, as in fact does the alias. Sorry for the confusion, but I'm very glad this is fixed, sinse now I can play alter again. to anyone who's on there i'm thelok t h e l o k.
