Agreed. Essentially, the Gators are a one dimensional team. Muschamp is gonna
have to learn that u gotta score early/often then worry about TOP after.

I need to point out that Mack Brown also seemed to have trouble picking up the
blitz. Could it actually be a problem with the offensive line?
Taylor did average 5.2 yards per carry. Some of his lesser carries seemed to
be some hesitancy with the handoff in the backfield. That could have been
The next nine men's tournaments and three women's will be in Nashville, it was
announced yesterday.
We are pleased to announce we have an extra bedroom which will be available for
the tournament weekend. We are offering it at the low price of only $700 per
night. Bathroom is across the hall.
Does it have a lake view? :-)

Plenty of talk that this is a must win for Muschamp. Personally I'm
afraid we've got another Zooker but with a more boring offense.

I gotta agree, Muschamp is not close to being Zookand I supported Zook

I agree with your evaluation. But---a big but---You cannot be successful
against the upper tier without a solid o-line and we certainly don't have one
for any number of reasons. That is critical to running and passing. I know, I'm
talking to the hand.

When I compare Muschamp to Zook I am talking strictly about coaching
abilities. I think we have a Mr. 500 and we all know that won't cut it
for long.

I think the only thing Muschamp needs to do is improve the downfield
passing.
Slow and boring is tolerable if you're leading in the game.
It really sucks if you're playing from behind.
I don't think the QB position is improving. Nor are the other skill
positions. I don't think Driskel was where
We won 11 games last year.
Muschamp is 22-10.
Can't believe we are having this conversation not even one year removed from a
BCS bowl... lets not forget we are down FIVE starters to knee injuries.

Exactly. Who here really expected the Gators to win in Baton Rouge?
So, why the surprise when we didn't?

They put up 40+ on the Mutts... and only managed 17 against the gators..
yes.. they could have scored again... but they didnt.
Id say we were competitive.

All we needed was 2 or 3 pass protections lasting another second and we win. I
saw numerous plays with receivers wide open deep that never got a chance to
catch the pass.

Yes Woody but the opposite side of that coin is that the mutts put 40+
on them and we put up 2 field goals.

I would be shocked barring injury that Dalvin Cook redshirts, you can watch
film of the guy, who plays against the best HS competition in South Florida
and makes them look silly. Remember Kalvin Taylor played against a much
lower level of HS competition.

I agree. I don't think his job is in jeopardy this year, even if we lose more
than we expected. But he really does need to change his offensive philosophy or
