We may be talking about two different things. There are fellow SEC schools that have looser visiting/entrance requirements than UF does, but I know for a fact that this math class requirement for JUCO transfers is an SEC requirement. From: Ken Kirkley To:

This rule is interesting for the SEC, the NCAA allows graduate transfers with no restrictions. The only NCAA penalty is a reduction in APR points if they don't make academic progress. I would surmise it is unusual for the SEC to place its institutions at a competitive disadvantage, Alabam

I am suspicious that we are not going to play either freshman qb. I expect one of them to transfer. I am also expecting that next fall we will either start a graduate transfer from ND or our incoming fresman qb. I think that if Franks was ready, we would have started him already. jb From:

I have seen several places where it is suggested that Florida is unable to take any more graduate transfers for a few years. I suspect strongly that this is not accurate because the coach made an in-home visit with one yesterday. Why would he have wasted the time and money to recruit someone
