Rakha dil pay pather to khud ko sajaya
Baat bay baat apni aahain daba ker
Yaron kay dermiyan kis qadar muskuraya
Na thi chah kabhi mujhay mankashi ki
Jaam-e-wafa kisi be-wafa nay pilaya
Kya muqadar say shikwa kertey rahain
Jo qismat main tha wohi kuch to paaya
Gairon nay aaker galay say lagaaya
Acha hua kay raaz khul hi
Dil-e-nadaan pay khanjar kis nay chalaya
