So our King Irfan Raani is back!! (after quiet a long gap on the GB mail list)
Yeah the first thing I too expect from Irfy Amma is about Films gossips or not mistaken again - it has to be about the Jr. Bachaaa of Bachhan Family. Seems if given a chance Our Irfy Raani would surely go without a second thought with Abhi Babes.............
Yeah the Dus Title Song is indeed a Treat in both senses - Visual as well as audio! Kudos to Abhi Babes for working so hard on all his upcoming films & trying to keep up his Father's inherited properties or culture.
I even liked Paheli but its too slow in its story pace. The pirated CDs available here in Gulf always lead to a sheer KLPD by the End of the film & thats what it did with Paheli as usual.
All the climax main story was literally missing or cut & I just saw Rani M embracing the Bhhoot Shahruck by the end!! ( Lolzz!!)
About Sarkar, I dont wana say anything as its just another RGV Flip from his book of imaginations. The guys in 'D' was cool (Randeep Hooda) but I thought I was seeing another Satya or Company by the end of the film.
About Shahruck Khan, he has yet to get along well & yeah he has to stop being there in each film with the same Rani, Preity, Juhi or the as I think his Group of Chosen lots!!
I wont be surprised if one day I see our Karan (Johar) Baaji acting as his lead heroine in her, Ohh Sorry his own made film...............
So, be4 Karan deedi or Irfy Mama gets bugged I will say Alvidaa...............
Waise to to Kabhie Alvidaa Naa kahnaa shuld work the Tricks again!! (hope so)

And to resume, what else can I talk about but films. Yes, by now, it's trite to say Abhishek has arrived. With 3 hits in a row (Bunty aur Babli - though I found it boooooring as hell), Sarkar (awesome!), and Dus (boring first half, rocking second half), Abhishek is officially the new Numero Uno. Yes, toppling even King Khan who, with two turkeys in a row (the documentaryish Swades and the colourful but vacuous Paheli) and three pakaao films in a row - in the words of my local video parlour guy - (the just-mentioned two and Veer Zaara), will have to reinvent himself if he wishes to continue his reign.
But for now, back to Abhishek. And boy, can he shake. Two people on the same day, the first one of my women colleagues and the second Umang, were raving about how he moves in the Dus title number, which is more of a guy item number (yes, credit again to Abes for making guy item numbers!), as well as about how only Abes could make the combination of a blazer, jeans, and floral print shirt look sexy. Yes, that's what he's wearing in the title number. And boy, does he woo the camera in the number! As for performances, he's delivered a mind-fucking-blowing one in Sarkar. Truly, the new Bollywood Sarkar is here.
