Namaste,
  My name is Brian. I am a 20 year old male from the United States (Ohio).   I am not of Indian desent, but I am very interested in learning more about different cultures...especially India. For some unexplainable reason I just feel very drawn to 'her'. I understand to a small extent the plight of feeling outcast and fearful because of my sexuality....when i was younger that is. But now as an adult people take to me very well...as a matter of fact some people like me even more-i believe- just becuase I am gay.  Does any one know of ways to get involved with some type of gay "global activism" if such a thing exists.  It is such an atrosity to  me that I can live openly gay and be happy here in the US, when world-wide men live in fear of punishment or even death for loving someone who just so happens to be of the same sex.  What is it like...  to be gay in India? I'm sure it can ruin ones faith..or on the other hand streghthen
 it.  I had read that at one time in some ancient indian civilizations that gays were considered a sacred third sex and were highly reveared for their tracendential spiritual knowledge......im not sure thought so please enlighten me. In the mean time i hope to hear from you all very soon ....and i pray that Sri Ganesh remove all obstacles from your path....
