I tried again with
g++-4.2 (GCC) 4.2.3 (Debian 4.2.3-2)
g++-4.3 (Debian 4.3-20080227-1) 4.3.0 20080227 (prerelease) [gcc-4_3-branch

The problem still exists for the first two test cases
