I think we can close this bug. gcc-6 now compiles faster than gcc-5
and the resulting binary also runs slightly faster.

Well, to be fair one should compare -std=c++14 for all versions, else
you just measure the well known C++11 libstdc++ allocator overhead.
gcc-49(-std=c++14): 23.242 sec
gcc-5 (-std=c++14): 26.

It seems we regressed slightly further.
GCC 4.9: 27.87s
GCC 5: 32.2
trunk: 37.78
furhter GGC memory use went up from 1053147 kB to 1221321 kB.
GCC 4.9:
