OK, the problem is that we change the prefix at installation time (by setting
the prefix variable on the make install command line).

It works for me on Fedora 17 with
--enable-clocale=gnu --with-system-zlib --with-demangler-in-ld
--enable-languages=c,ada,c++ --prefix=/usr/gcc-4.8.0
