The GCC 4.1.1 install comes from a depot that contains GNU_C_C++_64.
Unfortunately I can't see if this is a stock FSF build or something changed by
the HP

Is it time to close this defect out? I tried to reproduce this on HP-UX with
3.4.5, 4.0.1, and 4.1 but they all worked. The 3.2 (and I think 3.3) branches
are closed aren't they?
