            Bug ID: 84049
           Summary: libgomp.c++/for-[56].C and libgomp.c/for-[56].c take a
                    long time to run
           Product: gcc
           Version: 8.0
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P3
         Component: testsuite
          Assignee: unassigned at gcc dot gnu.org
          Reporter: hjl.tools at gmail dot com
  Target Milestone: ---

On a machine with 100+ cores, libgomp.c++/for-[56].C and
libgomp.c/for-[56].c take a long time to run:

   PID USER PR NI VIRT RES SHR S %CPU %MEM TIME+ COMMAND
127330 hjl       20   0 56.831g  34568   2400 R  1169  0.1  48:22.56 for-5.exe
273104 hjl       20   0 1158488  13084   2280 S  1067  0.0  13:28.57 for-5.exe

Should these tests adjust number of threads and loop counts based on
number of cores?
