ipa-pta-1.c fails since:

with -fpic, but gcc is correct and the testcase should be adjusted, it can't
assume the globally available functions will not be

so that we can tell which revisions you are using? Thanks.
Done, however it only works for 4.3 and trunk, not 4.2. I assume
