That's a heavily modified compiler by CodeSourcery. Please reproduce with a
vanilla FSF GCC, or report the problem to CodeSourcery as their compiler
clearly

Works for me on armv5tel-linux-gnueabi with gcc-4.6-20110325 (r171529) and
binutils-2.20.1 (heavily updated). Please attach the intermediate assembly
file.
