Doable? Yes. But it will probably take some plumbing. I spent some time trying to get Geeqie to display IPTC metadata (which is generally embedded in the XMP metadata, iirc), and there was a _lot_ of plumbing to be done. I imagine that changing the EXIF pipeline from unidirectional to bidire
