I sort of started adding "Extending M5 tutorials" in the documentation
on the WIKI page a while back so people can see how "easy" the
extension
capabilities of M5 are ( "Making Your Own ISA/CPU Model")

However, i also think it would very cool if we have some example
scripts (and tutorials using those scripts) available for people that
demonstrates the flexibility of M5. If we could somehow get users to
be able to post that themselves then we would really be in business.

For example, M5 user John is simulating a 8 processor system in a ring
network using m5.2.0b5. Jack then uploads his M5 config file(s) to
some common location and notes how to use his script.

Now, M5 new user Jack can go to m5sim.org, download John's examples
of using M5 and his learning curve for getting started on a similar
project is way less steep.

Also, this helps to empower the M5 community and eventually just make
M5 more and more "mainstream" useful.

I came across this thought today so I think would be it really really
cool if we can somehow make the aforementioned functionality available
, but maybe I'm still in "la-la" land from my dentist appt. today.

If anybody thinks that's something we should do or has anything to
add/remove from idea feel free to let me know...
