Hello Gem5! I’m looking to simulate a manycore (thousands of cores per chip with local memories) architecture such as Graphcore or Cerebras, and I’m wondering if anyone’s had experience using Gem5 or Gem5-Aladdin to simulate this type of interconnect-centric architecture. I haven’t been able to find precedent in the literature besides a single paper that claims that Gem5 has very poor performance in this scenario.
Any pointers to appropriate literature or previous work would be greatly appreciated!
