You can certainly convert XML to ePUB or XSL-FO in MarkLogic. As for PDF, you'd have to go PDF => XHTML => XML => whatever I've done this myself: the built-in PDF conversion application will target simplified DocBook, and then you can go to XSL-FO. I've done this myself, using the DocBook
