I see some troubles with a ppmcs alias.
When messages are sent to such an alias, then there needs
to be a place to follow-up. Suppose that would be general@

I've started a reboot thread on kato-dev@. If
at least 3 credible responses emerge I am willing
to volunteer to mentor the effort going forward.

My opinion: It's one thing to try to involve yourself in the fortunes
of one or two projects in addition to your own, and be willing to
provide general opinions, and be willing to contribute content to the
incubator's policy pages. But the incubator is so huge these days and

As others have said there isn't once, but unlike others who are
suggesting an announce style list I think we do need an all PPMCs
list. Sometimes we need to ensure
OK same idea, different name ;). I (as a committer/reader of this list)
think this is a good idea!

Would it be an idea to have something like an announce@, specifically for
decisions that have been made (concerning all poddlings) after al the
discussions on the general@ list?

which all poddlings are supposed to be watching. Thats likely to get
lost in the flood of other messages so what we could do is set up a
new dev list

We have p...@apache.org for project PMCs, is there an equivalent for podlings?
I'd like to inform them of the changes to
