I just found in the Notice file there is a line of
"This product contains code form the Netty Project:"
I don't think incubator-dubbo-spring-boot-project using the Netty
project source directly. Can you explain it?
BTW, If we use the netty source code, we need to mention it in the
License file
Just a note from infra that we'll need a decision from the IPMC on this
matter no later than February 7th, preferably before :)
With regards,
Daniel.

Hello everyone,
this is the result of the discussion I started in December 2018[1].
I would like to start this thread to get feedback on a proposal we've been
working on for a project focused on developing training material for Apache
& 3rd party projects.
The full proposal can be found here <
In the past, SVN repos have just been made read-only.
(The intention was to move them to
http://svn.apache.org/viewvc/incubator/RETIRED/ but that never
happened)
I think it would be a mistake to drop the repos.
There's no guarantee that the code is available anywhere else, and it
seems wrong to
Actually, incubator-dubbo-spring-boot-project does not use Netty project
source and keeps the dependecies are optional.
However, I saw
http://www.apache.org/dev/licensing-howto.html#bundle-asf-product, and
referenced the dubbo's LICENSE file, thus some declarations were added
in license, and
Hi,
+1 binding
I checked:
- incubating in name
- signatures and hashes good
- DISCLAIMER exists
- LICENSE all correct
- NOTICE doesn’t need Netty mentioned (please fix in next release)
- No unexpected binary in releases
- All source files have ASF headers
- Can compile from source
Thanks,

I checked:
- incubating in name
- signatures and hashes good
- DISCLAIMER exists
- LICENSE is OK
- Compile the source code without any error.
- NOTICE need to be fix in next release
As Dubbo 2.7.0 is ready, I think we need to do the pack named release ASAP.

Hi,
I’ll comment on the other parts of the proposal once I’ve thought about it a
bit, but I’m also have a decent amount of training and course creation
experience and would like to be on the (P)PMC / initial committer list if
you'll have me. Assuming you go down the IPMC I’d also happy to be
