[ANNOUNCE] Apache Rya 4.0.1 released

2020-12-31 Thread David Lotts
The Apache Rya team is happy to announce the release of Apache Rya 4.0.1:
the **first** release as an Apache top-level project. No more incubation!

http://rya.apache.org/news/2020/12/22/release-4.0.1/

Rya (pronounced "ree-uh" /rēə/) is a cloud-based RDF triple store that
supports SPARQL queries. Rya is a scalable RDF data management system built
on top of Apache Accumulo®. Rya uses novel storage methods, indexing
schemes, and query processing techniques that scale to billions of triples
across multiple nodes. Rya provides fast and easy access to the data
through SPARQL, a conventional query mechanism for RDF data.

Highlights:
- Eliminated incubator references everywhere
- Major updates to the example virtual machine
- HTTPS and some bug fixes

For the next release we are targeting updating the versions of Accumulo and
other major dependencies.

Thanks,
The Apache Rya team

Link to a page that seems to be missing

2020-12-31 Thread Andrew Wetmore
Hi, all:

On this page [1] there is a link to "facilities.html". That page does not
seem to exist in the Incubator repository, so of course that link leads to
a page-not-found error.

Happy New Year!

Andrew

Re: NOTICE file for binary release

2020-12-31 Thread Antoine Toulme
Additionally, I have amended the NOTICE file for binaries distribution here:
https://paste.apache.org/1mqph

Please let me know if that looks ok too if possible.

Cheers,

Antoine
