Looks like I messed up sections. Happy to change, but I don't have edit access to the Wiki. We have the Apache Camel project and Brian Proffit as sponsors for the incubator project. [VOTE] [Arrow] Accept donation of datafusion-substrait crate
The Apache Arrow PMC has voted [1] to accept the donation of the datafusion-substrait crate. The donation is in the form of a pull request [2]. The code was developed by the DataFusion community, and all contributors for the code in the PR have ICLA forms on file. This lazy consensus vote will be open for at least 72 hours. Thanks, Andy. Here is my +1 (binding). I worked with Drools long time ago and am excited to see KIE take it to the next level! But your comments on BSD-3 compatability are > illuminating, thanks for the explanation. FWIW: Apache HAWQ went through exactly the same exercise -- a lot of existing code was from Postgres (under BSD-like license) but the new code created when the project joined ASF was all under ALv2.
