Hi Jeff and Chemistry Developers,

sorry, my fault that I only replied to general@i.a.o but not to
chemistry-dev@i.a.o list to keep you all in the loop.

Kind Regards,
Stefan

Did you see the -1 vote from Stefan -
http://apache.markmail.org/message/bba6t6xifdgfwwxg

Probably need to address that, even if its just to ask lets just fix
it in the next release.

[VOTE][REMINDER] Release Apache Chemistry cmislib 0.4 incubating

2011-02-02 Thread Jeff Potts
Incubator PMC members,

This is the second reminder that the Apache Chemistry project is still looking
for two +1 IPMC votes to approve the 0.4 incubating release of cmislib.

The vote has been open for one week. Please let me know if there is anything I

Re: [VOTE][REMINDER] Release Apache Chemistry cmislib 0.4 incubating

2011-01-30 Thread Stefan Seelmann
Signatures are ok.
LICENSE and NOTICE files look good.
I was able to install the egg.

But I also found some issues:
- Most files have a license header that doesn't match the offical one, see [1].
- The installed egg contains a DISCLAIMER file, also SVN trunk
contains one, but the zip and tar.gz don't.
- I can't find a branch or tag for this release in SVN. I'd recommend
to create a tag for the release, or at least write down the revision
number.
- Another thing I'm not sure about: You use Sphinx (BSD) to generate
documentation and also bundle the themes, including a jQuery (MIT)
file. Is it required to add an attribution to the LICENSE file for
documentation?

Because of the first two issues (license header and missing disclaimer
file) I'm -1. Please note that I'm new in IPMC, so please tell me if
I'm wrong.

Kind Regards,
Stefan
