mail at apache.org

2001-07-14 Thread Oleg V Alexeev

Hello ,

Can anybody explain me mail send/retrieval connections turning at
apache.org? I try to connect to the apache.org with pop3/smtp mail
client directly and via ssh, but I have troubles anyway... What do I
  wrong?
I check Mailbox file at apache.org this day and found some amount of
letters inside of it - of course I can review it directly in shell,
but I think that exists more useful way to use mail at
  apache.org

Three Commons Packages Released

2001-07-14 Thread Craig R. McClanahan

The Jakarta Commons package is pleased to announce the availability of
Version 1.0 releases of three packages:

* Beanutils - Generic manipulation of JavaBeans wrapped around the Java
reflection APIs, including the ability to get and set nested and
  indexed properties.

* Collections - A wide variety of classes that conform to the API
contracts of the Java2 Collections APIs.

* Digester - Rules-based processor for XML input streams, providing a
much simpler interface than the standard SAX APIs.

The fact that these packages have been released means that they are
considered to be of production quality (and therefore worthy of being
relied on by other projects), and that -- consistent with the charter of
the Commons project -- backwards API compatibility will be maintained to
the largest possible degree to protect dependent projects from arbitrary
API changes.

The source and binary distributions of these packages can be found at:

collections/v1.0/
digester/v1.0/
