Re: [RESULT] [site] New download pages
Edit xdocs/downloads/downloads.xml and run Ant. I'd noticed that Turbine was fairly out of date. I'll add adding the downloads bit to the jakarta-site docs to the wiki, and get around to it soon. Re: [RESULT] [site] New download pages
This is now live :) 'Source Repositories' became 'CVS / SVN' for space reasons. Couldn't think of any other way to handle it. Redirects added. Couple of bugfixes then made for the Cactus and Taglibs pages. I'm going to send an announcement mail to each dev list as they all need to know that they can change their download link to their specific page. Hen On Sun, 20 Feb 2005, Henri Yandell wrote: 8 +1's. Re: [RESULT] [site] New download pages
Good work Henri. Working fine for me. Just a curiosity for later on that may be more related to the CGI than these pages - but why are only the local mirrors and backups listed? I'd have thought a dropdown containing something like: Local mirrors -- Other mirrors -- Backup mirrors might be better, and perhaps list the countries next to the mirrors. I just say this because I'm sure some localities are guessed incorrectly, or there are fewer mirrors and they are down/out of date and it would be better to point them at a big US mirror rather than the Apache backup as a next resort. WDYT? Cheers, Brett On Sun, 20 Feb 2005 19:35:59 -0500 (EST), Henri Yandell [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: 8 +1's.
