Hi, This is just an FYI, no action required. With the Tomcat 5.5 branch, Tomcat no longer uses Watchdog. We rely on Tomcat's internal tester and the official Sun TCKs, which are run for every Tomcat release. The Tomcat dependency on Watchdog was a reason for keeping Watchdog around.
The other reasons for keeping Watchdog around but in a dormant state are still valid, so I'm not arguing anything should be changed. I just wanted to let everyone know for the record that the Tomcat->Watchdog dependency doesn't exist anymore.
