Thanks for responding,
The kernel should be like any other linux kernel, but the source provided at
opensource.samsung.com has a lot of other packages included with it. The
development environment given on the Tizen site does not help when building a
tizen kernel. A generic armeabi gcc toolchain does not work either when trying
to build the kernel.
Thanks,
Kurt

Hi,
I don't know specifically about Z2, but my guess if it's a rpm package there
are chances that you'll be able to build it using GBS.
Check Tizen doc or Wiki https://wiki.tizen.org/Category:Tool
If in a hurry there is a crash course video at end of this presentation:

Some flows here for ARTIK but it could be adapted for Mobile profile (2?)

Good luck

What toolchain do I need for it to build and will I have to build all the
packages? Or just the kernel zImage?
Thanks,
Kurt
