Quite right, I haven't used the Wizard yet but like things to be worling since more 'things' may crop-up. I started Kile from a terminal and found, 'kio (KMimeType): WARNING: KServiceType::offers : servicetype ThumbCreator not found kdecore (KAction): WARNING: KActionCollection::KActionCollection( QObject *parent, const char *name, KInstance *instance ) KCrash: Application 'kile' crashing... Unable to start Dr. Konqi' Drkonqi is merged and I am in 'wheel' Thanks. Everything else seems ok so I will leave this Q? Gavin.
