Ruby _p114 is the last Ruby with Oniguruma patches, however there are numerous security issues. Ruby 1.9.1 will contain Oniguruma again, people needing it in 1.8 can use a gem [1]. ruby-config is superseded by eselect-ruby. Cheers, Alex [1] http://oniguruma.rubyforge.org/
