All, gentoo policy states that if you want to make a change to a package, but you find that it is maintained by someone else, you are supposed to contact them and give them a reasonable chance to reply before you change the packages they maintain unless you have a different arrangement with them o

I think dev-python/dbus-python should be renamed dev-python/python-dbus Same with these: dev-libs/eggdbus dev-libs/e_dbus All the 'dbus' packages should start or end with 'dbus'.
